History
Bob, Tom and Jared first played together in the early nineties in the Milwaukee-based band the Lost Pioneers. The group released one self-titled album in 1999.
The Lost Pioneers changed names and lineup in 1997 as America's Sweethearts and played a weekly club gig at Milwaukee's own Y-Not II.
Bob and Jared drafted Mike Starling into the weekly club gig when America's Sweetheart folded in 2000. Often joined by a cast of rotating musical friends, the trio played every Tuesday night at the Y-Not II Tavern in Milwaukee for three years under the name Nucklehead.
Tom Plutshack joined up with Nucklehead after the Y-Not II run ended, around 2005. Nucklehead also changed it's name to Bean Hoy, to take advantage of Mike Starling's established Bean Hoy brand name.
Bean Hoy disbanded at the end of 2010 when Mike Starling moved to Chicago. Bob, Jared and Tom decided to soldier on as Bella Brutto.
Bella released an album in 2012 named "the Beautiful Ugly".
Around the beginning of 2016 joined the band, bringing her vast talent and experience and to supply the important final missing elements.
